Honey Harvester
Donald Duck Production Drawing (Walt Disney, 1949)

This rare vintage production drawing features Donald Duck in a frantic moment from Honey Harvester (1949), a Walt Disney short directed by Jack Hannah. In the cartoon, Donald's greenhouse becomes an unwelcome target for Spike the Bee, who's after pollen. But Donald has his eyes set on Spike's stash of honey, and a hilarious tug-of-war unfolds between the two. This particular scene appears around the 6:22 timestamp, as Donald scrambles away with an armful of honey jars, his expression equal parts determined and panicked.

The drawing captures the classic energy and humor that made Donald a fan favorite. Clarence "Ducky" Nash lends his unmistakable voice to Donald, while animation duties were handled by Disney greats Bill Justice (later named a Disney Legend) and Volus Jones.
